We make the world a little quieter.

Our company was created because so many tinnitus sufferers don't get the care and relief they deserve. Today, our expert team, advanced clinical treatment, and telemedicine delivery model make us a tinnitus care leader. Thank you for including us in your patient journey.

Meet Our Team

In addition to treating tinnitus, we have also treated patients with noise and age related hearing loss, and have helped to train other audiologists. We enjoy sharing our knowledge of tinnitus, the auditory system, and sound therapy, and we especially love seeing patients find relief.

If you or a loved one are suffering with tinnitus, please contact us. Every case is different, and we are eager to speak with you to help you determine the best next steps toward feeling better.

Lindsay R. Bush, Au.D.

As an audiologist who specializes in tinnitus treatment and management, I have always enjoyed working with tinnitus patients, and I love being able to utilize telemedicine as an innovative and unique way to reach tinnitus patients all over the country.

At Auburn University, I first earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders, then went on to acquire my Doctor of Audiology degree. I am a licensed audiologist with certification in the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association as well as a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. Prior to joining the TTS team, I gained valuable experience working in university, ENT, and VA clinics where I developed a passion for helping tinnitus patients.

In my spare time, I love to travel and enjoy the outdoors with my husband, daughter, and two dogs. I am also an avid equestrian and love to ride horses!

Jeff Carroll, Ph.D.
Clinical Director

I have spent a decade treating tinnitus patients and enjoy innovating novel treatment approaches, learning about new technology and treatments, and staying abreast of current research.

I have worked in the tinnitus field for the last 10 years as a researcher, clinician and engineer. I was the founding Director of the Tinnitus Treatment Center at the University of California, Irvine, and have worked with nearly a thousand tinnitus patients. I have a doctoral degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine with research in cochlear implants and tinnitus and I am one of the inventors of the S-Tone® technology for tinnitus treatment in the SoundCure® Serenade®. I have trained hundreds of audiologists and hearing healthcare professionals in tinnitus evaluation and treatment. I have given invited presentations both domestically and abroad. Mostly, I love the one on one interaction that treating a patient offers and seeing success with someone who has been told they just have to live with their condition.

I love spending time with my wife and two kids and participating in running and obstacle course racing events. I also homebrew craft beer with my dad when I can find the time.

Megan Stout, Au.D., FAAA
Clinic Coordinator

Since 2013, I have enjoyed working for this innovative company bringing relief to tinnitus sufferers through the use of modern technology and expert counseling.

I earned my B.S. in Speech Pathology and Audiology from West Virginia University and my Au.D. from Nova Southeastern University. Early in my career I worked in both ENT and private practice settings where I offered a full scope of audiological services, including diagnostic testing and treatment for hearing loss, tinnitus and balance disorders as well as patient counseling. During this time, I developed a special interest in treating tinnitus patients and went on to work as a Clinical Specialist for a medical device company specializing in tinnitus treatment. I have trained hundreds of audiologists regarding specialized testing protocols, counseling methods and proper device usage for tinnitus patients.

In my spare time I enjoy making handcrafted skincare products, reading and playing tennis. I am also an avid West Virginia Mountaineer sports fan.

William Atherholt, M.S.
Audiologist/Senior Hearing Consultant

I have spent the last 20 years working as an Audiologist. I have found that building close relationships with my patients and using a patient-centered approach have been instrumental in treating both hearing loss and tinnitus.

I graduated from the State University of New York at New Paltz with a Masters Degree in Audiology. Since then I have had the pleasure to work with some of the best Ear, Nose and Throat physicians in New York and Tennessee. I have helped diagnose, counsel, and fit more than one thousand patients over the years. I have worked as an Audiologist in ENT offices, hospitals , operating rooms and private clinics. I also have many years of experience counseling patients from a distance via Tele-Audiology. I am a Musician as well as an Audiologist, so I realize the impact tinnitus and hearing loss can have on someone's life, and strive to make a difference for every patient I help.

When I'm not helping my patients with their hearing needs, you can find me writing and recording music in my home studio.

Tommy Staggs
Tinnitus & Hearing Consultant Director

My goal each day is to make a difference in someone else's life.

I began my career in 2002 at one of the very first direct-to-patient hearing healthcare companies. As a pioneer in counseling and consulting with patients over the phone and internet, I have witnessed the amazing benefits of direct-to-patient hearing healthcare. Today, being the Director of Tinnitus and Hearing Consultants gives me the unique opportunity to connect with our patients with full understanding of what it takes to guide them into the most appropriate treatment option. I have worked with thousands of local clinics across the fifty states and for over a decade have successfully helped thousands of tinnitus and hearing loss patients find the relief they were looking for. The most amazing reward is knowing that in some way I have helped improve both my patients' quality of life, as well as the quality of life of those around them.

I am the proud husband of an amazing wife and a father of two wonderful children. I enjoy spending time outdoors camping and fishing and I am a huge college football and NFL fan.

Kevin Carlyon
Tinnitus Support Audiologist UK

I have worked for leading manufacturers of hearing aids, tinnitus devices and hearing testing equipment for more than 20 years. For most of this time, my focus has been on working with or delivering new technologies to market which have benefitted both hearing care professionals and patients alike. It's a great pleasure being involved in everything new in the hearing aid and tinnitus industry.

My training includes certification as an NHS trained hearing aid audiologist and in my spare time I run the Tinnitus Support Group in my home city. I was invited to join a tinnitus medical device manufacturer about 5 years ago to deliver the customised tinnitus treatment to the UK market and I thoroughly enjoy my work with tinnitus. After initially helping UK audiologists improve their tinnitus knowledge, I then switched to having more direct one to one contact with tinnitus patients. This is professionally very rewarding as I am able to help tinnitus patients to gain a greater understanding of their condition, manage their symptoms more effectively over time and ultimately improve their well-being.

Away from work, I enjoy paddle boarding with my wife, spear fishing, playing golf and travelling when time allows.

We love what we do, and we love seeing patients feel better!

What People Have to Say About Our Tinnitus Treatment

Tinnitus help

I went to a doctor, and he threw his hands up and said "I don't know what to tell you. You're just going to have to live with it." He didn't know what to do about it. I changed doctors. Then I got a referral and saw a neurosurgeon who said "I can't justify doing anything." I came back to my new doctor and he sent me to an ENT. He [the ENT] just reached out and shook my hand and said, "Welcome to the club, I've had it for seven years. There's nothing we can do." I went to two doctors and five specialists and got nothing. I've lost quality of life because of this. I found Tinnitus Treatment Solutions online. I guess somebody cares now – that is what makes a difference to me. The others just didn't seem like they cared. You all coach me along, and guide me to help me with my tinnitus. I'm just overjoyed I found somebody who cares, and who can help me fix this. Thank you, you give me hope. I refuse to live with "nothing can be done" – that's why I've kept on. You understand what I've been going through. You're a Godsend.

Tinnitus relief

I think [TTS] made a wonderful recommendation. I am still doing quite well with my new tinnitus hearing aids and I notice so much difference. I have had lots of meetings lately for work, and the difference is just day and night. I don't have to strain to listen anymore and I don't notice my tinnitus as much as I used to.
